GoldMine is not a relational database. Although the Organizational Chart and Referral Tabs help to track relationships, they both can be confusing to use.

Contact Connect adapts well for the mortgage industry, where lenders working on a borrower’s loan package have contact with a number of 3rd parties, including sales agents, appraisers and title companies, not to mention their own internal loan officers and processors.

 Advanced Functions (Pro Edition):

• Lead Tracking
  With the Pro Edition of Contact Connect you may specify the source of a customer lead and whether you have distributed this customer as a lead to any of the linked contacts.
  This powerful relational functionality makes it simple to see at-a-glance how many referrals you may have given to any player, as well as how many you may have received.
  
• Synchronize Userdefined Fields
  The Pro Edition of Contact Connect may be configured to allow for storage and synchronization of contact information of linked records directly on the customer record. This feature reads contact information from linked records and writes the values to userdefined fields on the customer record.
  This option allows that data to be synchronized over to POINT, Contour or Genesys loan file.
  
• Job Processing with OmniRush
  The Pro Edition of Contact Connect may be configured to allow for easy synchronization between GoldMine and OmniRush using Job Processing.
  This feature reads calendar records scheduled for customer records and transfers the jobs to the correct referral records in GoldMine for easy processing by OmniRush.
